“Rohatsu” is a Japanese word that means the eighth day of the twelfth month, December 8, which has come to be known as “Bodhi Day.” Zen Buddhists worldwide observe the Buddha’s enlightenment during the first week of December.
This day of reflection is intended to support one another in strengthening our aspiration for awakening. Includes silent and guided meditation, a Dharma talk and discussion, and opportunities to speak one-on-one with the teacher. Some meditation experience suggested, but all are welcome to attend. Registration opens October 1.
